PAT Testing Services
PAT testing, or Portable Appliance Testing, is the only way to guarantee that all the portable appliances in your office or business premises meet with the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations Act (1989).
To make sure that your appliances – and more importantly your staff or residents – are safe, you need to have regular PAT testing involving visual checks as well as tests using specialised equipment.
Prevent Electrical Equipment Fires
These checks aren’t just limited to things such as fans and computers. Anything attached to an electrical socket must be thoroughly checked, with some appliances needing several different tests before they can be approved for use. This is necessary to prevent electrical fires and keep your electricity system in good health.
Our dedicated team of assessors will conduct thorough PAT testing to identify the hazards and then advise you on any action which needs to be taken to ensure your appliances meet with the standards set by law.
While PAT testing is not a legal requirement in the UK, the law does require employers to ensure that their electrical equipment is maintained in order to prevent danger. PAT testing is one of the most effective ways to meet this legal obligation, particularly in high-risk or large, complex environments.
ADL Group’s PAT Testing service will give you peace of mind by identifying electrical faults and offering advice to make sure your business avoids dangerous accidents.
