Security Lighting

Keeping your premises well-lit acts as a strong deterrent to intruders targeting your property and creates a safer environment overall. Our range of energy efficient security lighting systems are designed to your properties needs. Before we install any type of lighting, our experienced team will complete a free security survey of your premises and assess which type of security lighting will deliver the most effective results. From programmable lights that come on at specified times, to motion sensor lights, ADL Group can provide the exact security lighting system to ensure your premises are safe and protected.
ADL Group offer a wide range of Security Lighting systems for both the commercial and residential sectors, providing systems such as:

Continuous lighting (Floodlighting)

Continuous lighting is the most common type of lighting and consists of a series of fixed lights arranged to flood a given area continuously with overlapping cones of light during hours of darkness.

Motion Activated Lighting

A motion sensor light triggers a response when motion is detected. They can be installed indoors, on walls, ceilings, and in doorways, or outside, on the exterior of buildings and homes.

Moveable Lighting

Movable lighting consists of manually operated, movable lights that may be lit during hours of darkness or only as needed. The system normally is used to supplement continuous or standby lighting

Standby Lighting

Also referred to as “crash” lighting, Standby lighting has a layout similar to continuous lighting. However, the lights are not lit continuously but are turned on (either automatically or manually) when suspicious activity is detected or suspected by the security or alarm systems.

Routine Maintenance for your security lighting systems

Security lights can get off-kilter if there are interruptions in the electrical supply, such as power outages, power surges and accidentally flipping light switches or breakers. Sometimes this can result in lights that stay on or off all the time and pose a threat to residents in the case of an emergency as well as reducing protection of your premises. Our security maintenance packages include routine testing and maintenance on all types of security lighting systems.
